Before we got hooked on the lottery, the American public received their daily dose of gambling through these popular punchboards. The punchboards came in a variety of sizes displaying countless subjects, including baseball. The offered 12" x 15" punchboard sports 1,500 different 'punches', each one offering the player a chance at a cash prize. Only four of the punches have been used and the remainder are still sealed. In addition to the punches, over 50 charms, in the form of baseballs and pennants, can be viewed from the front; I assume that they are some sort of consolation prizes. Only one of these charms has been awarded. A great display piece!
