Talk about crossover appeal!! One side of this placard is an invitation to "Follow The Crowds To See and Hear" John F. Kennedy on October 10, 1960 in his bid for the presidency, with a picture of the handsome smiling senator. The other side is an unused world series scorecard [Yankees vs. Pirates] with this catchy slogan: "We beat 'em in September / We'll beat 'em in October / and Kennedy will beat 'em in November". Of course, the Yankees lineup that day included #7-Mantle, #8-Berra, and #9-Maris. An impressive piece.
